The Foundation supports education through guided school tours at the Hellenic Parliament, experiential learning programmes, workshops on Democracy for pupils, students and educators, Web-based interactive and cultural activities for students, hosting of high schools located in remote areas, development and free distribution of digital educational material, and the “Youth Parliament” programme.
The educational programmes aim to:
- familiarize young people with the principles and values of Parliamentary Democracy;
- strengthen citizenship and historical education;
- contribute to the development of active democratic citizens.
Thousands of pupils, students and educators participate in the learning programmes of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation.
